These Chubby Little Creature Keychains From Kobito Zukan Are Breaking the Cute Meter 🍄✨

The Tiny Creatures Are Back — And They’re Puffier Than Ever 😍

Okay, collectors — drop everything right now because F-Toys just announced something that is going to wreck your wallet in the absolute best way possible. The beloved Kobito Zukan franchise is getting a brand-new wave of squishy, face-shaped cushion keychains, and Volume 2 of the CV Kobito Zukan Cushion Keychain series is officially hitting shelves on January 25, 2027.

If you slept on Series 1, now is your chance to make it right. Do NOT make the same mistake twice. 👀

What Even Is Kobito Zukan? 🌿

For the uninitiated — Kobito Zukan (literally “Little People Field Guide”) is a massively popular Japanese franchise built around the concept of bizarre, potato-shaped little creatures that supposedly live hidden in everyday environments. They’re weird, they’re adorable, they’re deeply unsettling in the best possible way, and Japan has been OBSESSED with them for years. The character designs are genuinely one-of-a-kind, and seeing them translated into collectible merch form never gets old.

The Details: Palm-Sized Perfection 🎯

These little guys are being produced under F-Toys’ Korokoro Village label, and the craftsmanship on these things is seriously underrated for the price point. Here’s what you need to know:

• Size: Approximately 75mm in length and 25mm thick — literally palm-sized and perfect
• Attachment: Comes with a ball chain so you can clip it onto your bag, keys, zipper pull — anywhere you want a dose of chaotic cute energy
• Each unit includes: 1 toy figure, 1 ball chain, 1 leaflet, and 1 stick of chewing gum (yes, it’s a food toy / shokugan release 🍬)
• Format: Blind box for single units, or grab a full BOX of 12 to guarantee the complete set

The Full Lineup — All 6 Characters 🌟

This is where it gets really exciting. The Series 2 roster features six characters, and honestly, this lineup is stacked:

• Kakure Momojiri 🍑
• Sumomo no Uchi 🌸
• Kakure Kedama 🌀
• Beni Kinokobito 🍄
• Ichigo Kurenai 🍓
• Lemon Sumashi 🍋

Six totally distinct characters, each rendered in that signature chubby face-mascot style that makes Kobito Zukan merch so insanely giftable and displayable. The color palettes on these are chef’s kiss — rich reds, warm yellows, earthy tones. They look incredible lined up together.

BOX Buying = The Smart Move 📦

Here’s the math that makes this a no-brainer: a single unit is ¥495 (tax included), and a full BOX of 12 is ¥5,940 (tax included). One BOX gets you all 6 characters in 2 complete sets — meaning you can display one set and trade/gift the duplicates. For serious collectors, the BOX purchase is genuinely the only move here.

• Single (blind): ¥495 / unit
• Full BOX (12 pcs): ¥5,940 — includes 2x of each of the 6 variants

Manufacturer: F-Toys | Distributor: Platz | Release Date: January 25, 2027
