MAFEX Bossk Is the Star Wars Bounty Hunter Figure You NEED in Your Collection 🦎🔫

The Galaxy’s Most Dangerous Trandoshan Is Finally Getting the MAFEX Treatment 🚀

Okay, Star Wars collectors — DROP EVERYTHING. Medicom Toy just announced that Bossk, everyone’s favorite cold-blooded Trandoshan bounty hunter from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, is joining the legendary MAFEX action figure series — and honestly? This reveal just broke my brain in the best possible way. 🤯

If you’ve been sleeping on MAFEX figures, this is your wake-up call. This is the line that consistently delivers insane sculpt accuracy AND jaw-dropping articulation in one package — and Bossk might just be one of their most exciting picks yet.

Who Is Bossk? The Baddest Bounty Hunter in the Galaxy 💀

For the uninitiated (respectfully, go watch ESB immediately), Bossk is one of the iconic bounty hunters personally summoned by Darth Vader aboard the Executor to hunt down the Millennium Falcon. That legendary lineup scene — Bossk standing right there next to Boba Fett — is burned into every Star Wars fan’s memory forever. And beyond Empire, Bossk got serious screen time in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, cementing his status as an absolute fan-favorite in the expanded universe.

He’s mean. He’s scaly. He rocks that yellow flight suit like nobody’s business. And now he’s getting a premium Japanese action figure worthy of his legend. Let’s. GO. 🔥

What’s in the Box? Let’s Break Down Every Insane Detail 📦

The Sculpt — Medicom Toy Did NOT Miss 🎨

The MAFEX Bossk figure stands approximately 16 cm tall, and from the prototype images, the sculpt is chef’s kiss levels of accurate. Every scale on that Trandoshan reptilian face, the iconic yellow pressure suit details — Medicom Toy’s sculptor team (Tsukada Tetsuya of namoji & PERFECT-STUDIO) absolutely went off on this one. The proportions look screen-accurate and the paint work on the prototype is already stunning.

Two Swappable Head Sculpts — The Details Are Wild 🤩

Here’s where it gets really spicy for display collectors: Bossk comes with TWO interchangeable head parts:

• Closed mouth / calm expression — perfect for that stoic, menacing bounty hunter display pose
• Open mouth / screaming expression — pure feral energy, unhinged Trandoshan rage mode activated 🦎

And here’s the nerd detail that’s sending collectors absolutely feral: the pupil sizes are actually DIFFERENT between the two heads. Medicom Toy studied the character deeply enough to replicate that biological eye response. That level of obsessive accuracy is exactly why MAFEX figures are the gold standard.

Full Body Articulation — Pose Him Any Way You Want 💪

Every single joint on this figure is fully articulated, meaning you can recreate basically any combat pose your heart desires. Whether you want him standing tall and menacing or crouching in a combat-ready stance, this figure can handle it. And to make your display life even better, a poseable figure stand is included — so you can go wild with dynamic mid-action floating poses.

Two Blasters Included — Double the Firepower 🔫🔫

Because one blaster was never going to be enough for Bossk, MAFEX includes TWO blaster accessories. Swap them out, dual-wield for maximum chaos energy, or pose him aiming down sights — the options are endless and the accessories look properly detailed in the prototype shots.

MAFEX — Why This Line Is the Collector’s Holy Grail 🏆

For those outside Japan wondering why MAFEX figures consistently cause such massive FOMO — here’s the deal. MAFEX (by Medicom Toy) is revered worldwide for achieving something most figure lines can’t: beautiful, screen-accurate sculpts that ALSO have exceptional poseability. Most high-detail figures sacrifice articulation. Most highly articulated figures sacrifice sculpt quality. MAFEX refuses to compromise on either, which is why every new announcement sends the collector community into a frenzy.
