Bandai’s Sodo Kamen Rider Mice EGZ1 Is the Most Poseable Candy Toy Yet — And You NEED It

Yo, let’s talk about a game-changer that just dropped in the world of Kamen Rider candy toys. Bandai’s Sodo (装動) series has always been the go-to for hardcore toku collectors who want affordable, highly detailed, and actually poseable figures — and the latest entry, 装動 仮面ライダーマイス EGZ1 Feat. 装動 仮面ライダーゼッツ, is about to break the internet. 🔥

Dropping on September 21, 2026, this set is packed with everything a Kamen Rider Mice fan could ever dream of. And trust me — if you sleep on this, you will regret it hard. 😤

The Star of the Show: A Brand-New Waist Joint 🎉

Okay, let’s get into the headline feature because this is genuinely HUGE for the Sodo line. Kamen Rider Mice now gets a waist joint — which means you can finally pose these figures in forward bends AND backbends.

This is a milestone upgrade for the entire Sodo series. The articulation game just leveled up massively, and collectors who’ve been building their Sodo lineups know exactly why this matters. Dynamic action poses, dramatic stances, mid-kick freezeframes on your shelf — all of this is now possible. 🐭💥

Insane Attention to Detail 🔍

Let’s be real — Bandai did NOT cut corners here. Every single rider in this set is sculpted to faithfully recreate their on-screen look:

• Kamen Rider Mice — The rat-inspired design details are meticulously captured throughout the figure. The distinctive head sculpt and circular chest design are rendered in PVC, and yes, the compound eyes are fully painted. No lazy sticker eyes here, folks. 👀
• Kamen Rider Maou — Even the characteristic whiskers on the head are fully sculpted in 3D. Bandai went all the way. 🧡
• Kamen Rider Dat — Here’s where it gets extra spicy: to faithfully recreate the side-by-side formation from the show, Dat gets a brand-new undersuit sculpt separate from Rid. That’s the kind of dedication that separates a good candy toy line from a legendary one. 🙌
• Kamen Rider Rid — Bringing that cat motif energy with full sculpt accuracy. 🐱
• Kamen Rider Zetts Heart of Impact — Also included! The Sodo Zetts collaboration makes this set an absolute must-have for completionists. ⚡

Full Lineup Breakdown 📋

This set comes with 10 variants total (A and B parts for each rider), meaning you’re getting a full assembly kit experience:

Each box also comes with a soda-flavored gum because yes, this is still technically a candy toy — and that’s part of the charm. 🍬

Pricing & Availability 💴

At just ¥649 (tax included) per box, this is an absolute steal for the quality and articulation you’re getting. The set hits nationwide candy aisles and mass retailers across Japan on September 21, 2026.

If you’re outside Japan, you already know the drill — these sell out fast locally and go even faster on international platforms. Don’t wait. Pre-order the moment it goes live. ⏰

Why This Set Is a Must-Buy for Collectors 🏆

The Sodo series has always punched way above its price point, but the EGZ1 set introduces meaningful engineering improvements that push the line into new territory. A waist joint sounds simple, but for a candy toy figure, it completely transforms how you can display and interact with these pieces.

Couple that with new exclusive undersuit sculpts, fully painted compound eyes, and a roster that spans multiple riders with distinct animal motifs — and you’ve got one of the most compelling Sodo releases in recent memory. This isn’t just a candy toy. This is a collector’s grail hiding in a candy wrapper. 🐀👑
