Bandai’s Sodo Kamen Rider Mice EGZ1 Is the Most Poseable Rider Figure Yet — And It’s Only ¥649!

Yo, collectors — Bandai Candy just dropped a BOMBSHELL for Kamen Rider fans worldwide, and if you’re sleeping on this one, you are going to regret it hard. 🔥 The iconic Sodo (装動) series — the “dress up and move” candy toy figure line that has been absolutely DOMINATING the tokusatsu collecting scene — is now getting Kamen Rider Mice in full swing with the brand new Sodo Kamen Rider Mice EGZ1 Feat. Sodo Kamen Rider Zetts set! Mark your calendars: September 21, 2026 is the drop date. Let’s break this down! 🎉

The Game-Changing Feature: A Waist Joint Has Entered the Chat 🙌

Okay so here’s the thing that has the entire Sodo collector community absolutely LOSING IT right now — this lineup introduces a waist joint for the very first time! That means your Kamen Rider Mice figure can now bend forward AND arch backward, opening up a whole new universe of dynamic action poses. We’re talking hero landing poses, mid-kick stances, dramatic backbends — the kind of poses that make your display shelf look like a straight-up cinematic screenshot. This is a MASSIVE upgrade for the Sodo line and honestly? It was long overdue. 💪

Insane Sculpt Detail for a Candy Toy 😤

Don’t let the word “candy toy” fool you — Bandai’s Sodo line punches WAY above its weight class, and this set is proof. Here’s what you’re getting in terms of sculpt and paint quality:

• Kamen Rider Mice — The rat-inspired design is meticulously recreated across every surface. The distinctive head sculpt and circular chest design are rendered in PVC, and yes, the compound eyes are fully painted. This is candy toy accuracy at its finest. 🐭
• Kamen Rider Maou — Even the characteristic whiskers on the head are fully sculpted. Not just implied — actually sculpted. The attention to detail here is genuinely impressive for this price point.
• Kamen Rider Datt — To faithfully recreate the side-by-side appearance from the show, Datt comes with an all-new undersuits sculpt separate from Rid. That’s right — Bandai went the extra mile and made NEW parts just for screen accuracy. 🙏
• Kamen Rider Rid — The cat-motif Rider joins the lineup bringing that feline energy to your collection shelf. 🐱
• Kamen Rider Zetts Heart of Impact — The fan-favorite Zetts form is also included here as a crossover bonus. Absolute W for collectors who want the full roster. ⚡

Full Lineup Breakdown — All 10 Variants 📦

This set comes in at 10 total variants (A and B parts for each figure), all in the classic Sodo assembly kit format:

2. Mice B
3. Maou A
4. Maou B
5. Datt A
6. Datt B
7. Rid A
8. Rid B
9. Zetts Heart of Impact A
10. Zetts Heart of Impact B

Each box includes the assembly plastic kit set PLUS a soda-flavored gum because yes, this is still technically a candy toy and we love that about it. 🍬

Price & Availability — This Is Borderline Robbery 💸

Here’s where it gets even MORE hype — each box is priced at just ¥649 (tax included). For the level of sculpt detail, articulation upgrades, and the sheer number of characters packed into this lineup, that price is absolutely wild. The set releases on September 21, 2026 and will be available at candy/snack sections of major retailers nationwide across Japan.

The catch? These are Japanese domestic releases. If you’re outside Japan, you need to be strategic about how you get your hands on them — because they WILL sell out fast among overseas collectors once word spreads.

Why You Need to Pre-order RIGHT NOW 🚨

Let me be real with you for a second. The Sodo series has always been one of the most underrated figure lines in the tokusatsu hobby space — incredible detail, mix-and-match part compatibility, and now full waist articulation. This EGZ1 set is shaping up to be the best Sodo release of 2026 bar none. The character roster is stacked, the sculpts are next-level for the price point, and the new joint system is a genuine evolution for the line.

If you’re a Kamen Rider collector and you don’t have these on your radar yet, this is your wake-up call. ⏰
