Bandai’s Tamagotchi Frame Magnet Biscuits Are the Cutest Snack Merch Drop of 2027 — All 14 Designs Revealed! 🥹

Tamagotchi Is Back on Your Fridge AND in Your Mouth 🐣

Okay collectors, drop everything — Bandai Candy Division just announced something that is equal parts adorable and absolutely unhinged in the best way possible. We’re talking about the Tamagotchi Pitatto Frame Biscuit — a candy toy (食玩) release that combines collectible frame magnets with cheese-flavored biscuits printed with your favorite Tamagotchi characters. This is the crossover of snacking and collecting that nobody asked for but absolutely everyone needs. 😤

Scheduled to hit shelves across Japan in January 2027, this is one of those releases you’re going to want to plan ahead for if you’re outside Japan — because trust me, these will move fast.

What Exactly Is the Tamagotchi Pitatto Frame Biscuit? 🧲

Let’s break it down for those who need the full rundown:

Each box comes with:

• 1 frame magnet (randomly selected from 14 total designs)
• 21g of cheese-flavored biscuits printed with Tamagotchi character illustrations

The magnets feature life on Tamagotchi Planet, and they’re not your flat, flimsy fridge magnets either — these bad boys have approximately 1cm of depth/thickness, giving them a premium, chunky feel that makes them look genuinely display-worthy. You can collect them, stick them on your fridge, locker, magnetic whiteboard, or honestly anywhere you want to flex your Tamagotchi dedication. 🏠✨

14 designs total means you’re going to need multiple boxes to complete the set — which, let’s be real, is exactly what Bandai planned and we are absolutely falling for it.

Why This Drop Hits Different for Collectors 🔥

Listen, Tamagotchi merch has been having a serious renaissance lately, and this release is proof that Bandai knows exactly how to keep that nostalgia engine running at full throttle. The frame magnet format is genius — it’s functional, displayable, and deeply collectible all at once.

The fact that this comes bundled as a candy toy (食玩) makes it extra special for international collectors. These types of releases are Japan-exclusive, sold at major retail chains and candy aisles across the country, and they rarely make it overseas through official channels. That means if you want the full set of 14 frame magnets, you need to act through a trusted Japanese retailer — and you need to act early.

At ¥385 (tax included) per box, the price point is incredibly accessible, which means everyone and their crew is going to be buying multiples. Supply could dry up quicker than you expect. ⚠️
