The MS-06R-1A is an improved variant of the R-1, and Yuma’s personal unit rocks that striking vivid blue personal color scheme that makes it stand out on any display shelf like an absolute boss. Based directly on the original MSV-R manga artwork from Gundam Ace (Kadokawa), this kit is pure fan service for the lore nerds. 💙

The ace known as “Blue Lightning” gets double representation in this reissue wave — and his High-Mobility Gelgoog might actually be the crown jewel of the bunch. 👑 This MG build features all-new sculpting across the head unit, booster pack, and legs done to full MG standards. The main camera at the blade antenna base, the side intake vents, that absolutely beefy rear booster pack — all faithfully recreated. New tooling on the auxiliary tanks, thrusters, and leg armor shape make this a noticeably premium build. The black molded color on the waist armor connection pieces hits just right. This thing is going to look absolutely menacing on your shelf.

The personal marking decals for the shoulder unit are included, adding that extra layer of ace pilot authenticity. What really sweetens the deal? You get two Beam Sabers included as additional parts on top of the main Beam Machine Gun. At just ¥1,870, this is an absolute steal for the White Wolf faithful.

MG 1/100 MS-06R-1A Shin Matsunaga’s Zaku II (Custom Type) — Reissue | Ships November 2026

Last but absolutely not least — the White Wolf’s custom Zaku II, and this one is LOADED with detail. 🤍 The standout feature? Those uniquely shaped spike armors on both shoulders, different from the standard R-1A configuration. The leg parts feature a different fuel auxiliary tank shape, and the entire kit is rendered in that textured off-white personal color that’s distinctly Shin Matsunaga. But the real cherry on top? The newly designed water-slide decals include iconic markings like “白狼” (White Wolf) and the number “23”. This is the kind of kit that makes you want to build it, decal it meticulously, and put it front and center in your collection.

Why This Reissue Wave is a Big Deal 🚨

Look — Gundam MSV-R is peak Zeon ace lore. Yuma Lightning and Shin Matsunaga are the kind of characters that hardcore Universal Century fans obsess over, and their personal machines are grail-tier material. These kits don’t come around often, and the last run sold out fast. The fact that you’re getting four kits across MG and HG grades — spanning two of the most beloved Zeon aces — in a single reissue wave is genuinely rare. Whether you’re a collector, a builder, or both, this is a wave you simply cannot ignore. The November 2026 ships are going to go FAST.
